Just about anything that you might think of visiting the doctor for can be treated with acupuncture and/or Chinese Herbal Medicine. The World Health Organisation has for many years recognised acupuncture as being effective in the treatment of a very extensive range of conditions.
Here at Acupuncture Richmond, Paddy will initially take a full history before deciding on the best course of action for your particular complaint or condition. Treatment may be acupuncture alone or may involve the use of moxibustion or cupping and the prescription of a herbal formula. Diet and lifestyle play an enormous role in maintaining health and wellbeing so it is very likely that some helpful suggestions will also be provided.
Age is no barrier – everyone from young children to the very elderly can be treated with acupuncture.
The types of conditions that people choose to have treated with acupuncture include:

Subsequent treatments (45 minutes) $80.00
Students – initial consult and treatment $70.00
Students – subsequent treatments $55.00
Under 5’s – initial consult and treatment $45.00
Under 5’s – subsequent treatments $40.00
Cost of any Chinese herbal medicine is separate from the cost of the consultation and acupuncture treatment and will vary according to the herbs prescribed.
